About City Centre Beat

City Centre Beat works with over 80 members throughout the Bradford City Centre and outlying areas to fight crime and anti-social behaviour.

 

City Centre Beat provides members with up to the minute intelligence either through use of the Radio network, the CCB Intranet, Fortnightly Crime Briefings, SentrySIS App and the latest initiative which is the CCB Instant Message System. CCB have also recently agreed to share our intelligence with other crime partnerships as part of an accredited information sharing scheme.

 

The result of this sharing of Intelligence has resulted in identification and prosecutions of prolific criminals in and around the City Centre Of Bradford.

The CCB database of offenders has the ability to send reports and exclude criminals with immediate effect. Members are provided with a two-way digital radio connects them to over 80 venues across Bradford, PCSO’s and CCTV With their low-cost subscription CCB members see instant returns on investment and benefits through:

Safer Business Award with Distinction

The Safer Business Award, with Distinction was awarded to City Centre Beat for its effective Crime Partnership work in all areas of Bradford in March 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 , 2019, 2021, 2024.

The Safer Business Award (SBA) is the nationally recognised standard for Business Crime Partnerships and shows that they are operating lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships Codes of Practice.

Who We Are

City Centre Beat is governed by a Board of Management, appointed by the members at the Annual General Meeting. The Board of Management is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the City Centre Beat. The Police, Local Authority and City Centre Beat Managers may sit on the Board of Management as advisors, but will not have any voting rights.
